A RapidEX ATM, or CATM, is a physical kiosk that allows you to buy or sell cryptocurrencies for cash. Similar to traditional ATMs, Crypto ATMs allow users to withdraw and deposit fiat currency in exchange for digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others.
To purchase cryptocurrency at a RapidEX ATM, you will need:
- A valid form of government photo identification such as a driver’s license.
- A phone number with text messaging capabilities for authentication at the kiosk.
- You will also need cash to deposit into the machine to purchase the cryptocurrency.
To purchase cryptocurrency at a RapidEX ATM, start by locating one of our 100+ Canadian locations. At the kiosk, enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone to verify your account. Choose the cryptocurrency you’d like to buy, insert your cash, and enter the wallet address where you want the crypto sent. Once everything is confirmed, press “Buy” and wait for the transaction to process. It may take a few minutes to a few hours. Finally, check your wallet to confirm the crypto has arrived.
The daily limit at the RapidEX CATM is $30,000 CAD. The minimum transaction amount is $20 CAD. You can use all denominations of bills accepted by the machine, making it easy to deposit any amount within these limits. For transactions above the daily limit, please contact us for alternative options.
Non-custodial means RapidEX does not hold or store your cryptocurrency on your behalf. When you purchase crypto, it is sent directly to your own wallet, giving you full control over your funds and private keys.
